Entre 1943 et 1944, les corps de 28 résistants fusillés à la prison Saint-Michel de Toulouse ont été jetés nuitamment dans un terrain vague en bordure de Toulouse. Tous originaires du Sud-Ouest dont 18 du Lot et Garonne. Parmi ceux-ci figuraient Brisseau, Laguerre et Dubois de Duras sans compter un Blancheton de Monsegur, grand-père de Patrick Blancheton. Un hommage solennel leur sera rendu le 8 septembre
